Richelle Smallwood, MSW, LCSW

Richelle Smallwood is the owner and clinical director of Providential Care: Center for Mental Wellness. She is a Licensed Clinical Social worker and self-published author. Richelle obtained her Bachelors of Social Work degree from Elizabeth City State University and her Masters of Social Work degree from East Carolina University. Richelle participated in research programs during her undergraduate and graduate school career. Richelle specializes in working with children, adolescents and young adults. Richelle specializes in group therapy. Richelle is trained in Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is also the founder and developer of the Lost & Found Self-Esteem Program.  Richelle is passionate about providing care for those who have experienced chronic stress and trauma. She is also passionate about helping others build their self-esteem.
